Welcome to The Beach Glass Beads & Scrapbooks Website.
If you are here, you have probably either been into our store, or heard about us from a friend. So perhaps introductions are in order. The owners, Stephanie and Mick van de Wiel, can frequently be found behind the counter or at the classroom table.

We opened Beached Glass and Beads five years ago, just up the street. Carlsbad loves us and we love Carlsbad, so we grew and grew, added Scrapbooking, changed our name and just look at us now!

Spring Has Sprung!

It is time for all things to become new, including our class list! Check out our calender and see how many new classes we have added. You can now take a different class five days a week here. Walk-ins are always welcome.

The Little Bead Store Makes Good! Yes! That is us on the corner of State and Carlsbad Village Drive. Our many regulars know we can't go too long without some type of expansion, so this time we needed a bigger store altogether! Look for us one block west of the old location, and on the opposite side of the street.

New Jewelry Classes Offered Daily: After many requests for some quickie walk-in style classes, we have added the following short classes to our schedule. Easy Earrings, Woven Glass Bracelets, Memory Wire Rings and Bracelets, Pendant Wraps and Stretchy Bracelets. Stop by for details and samples.

Jaimie, Becky and Judy round out our staff here at Beach Glass Beads & Scrapbooks. Each woman brings her own flavor of artistry and humor to the store, and any one of them can guide new artists in the direction of their dreams, be it jewelry, scrapping, or mixed media art.

Come in for a visit, come in for the day. Bring your friends, bring your supplies, bring your lunch, or don't bring anything at all and see what you find amongst the stacks and strands. It's like finding a treasure chest you can step right into.
